Drums
Mark Evans – Born and raised in southern California, he began his drumming career at 14 playing to influences like Tommy Aldridge, Alex Van Halen, Tommy Lee and Neil Peart. At the age of 16 he was established as a hard rock, heavy metal drummer and played he first tour with his original band Malicious Intent. Mark, continued to hone his chops playing original music in Hard Rock bands (Brigade and Doc Rockit) in Hollywood during the late 80s and early 90s as well as doing session work. After graduating from college, he took a break and focused on his career for 12 years. Once relocating to Washington, he instantly started a rock cover band playing the greater Seattle area. After meeting so many great musicians in the area he joined a tribute band to Sammy Hagar called Mas Tequila. With the success of playing so many great venues and the popularity of modern country they decided to start Rebel Canyon. Mark describes modern country as an extension of rock and has crafted his drumming style to bring the best live performance. His journey keeps rolling and his drumming style keeps evolving. Bass, Vocals
Robert has played extensively with a number of popular tribute acts throughout the Puget Sound area since 2000. He is well-versed in a wide variety of musical styles from folk and country to metal and progressive rock. In addition to performing with Rebel Canyon, Robert performs as a multi-instrumetalist and vocalist in Taylor Made: Seattle James Taylor Tribute, and is a founding member of the long-running band Wasted on the Way: Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young.
Keys, Vocals
Norm Peterson started his musical journey with 10 years of classical piano training plus 2 years of music college. Playing in professional bands bands since high school, his career has taken him across the US playing rock, funk, blues, and jazz. As a music composer, Norm has recorded 3 released albums of original music as well as produced and released albums for other artists worldwide. As a kid, he and his Dad would listen to the country music station KAYO in Seattle every weekend, cementing his love for that style. Playing live music on keyboards in a great band is his passion along with producing music in his home studio.
Violin, Vocals
Award-winning violinist Natasha (Nati) Popova grew up in Moscow, Russia and has performed all over Europe and the US for the past several decades. Natasha studied classical violin at Gnesin’s Music academy in Moscow, Russia and organ at the Hochshule Luzern in Switzerland. As a violinist, she has performed on the Bangladesh, “Wind Of Change” TV series and a US national tour with accordionist Sergei Teleshev as well as several other music projects in Moscow, Russia, Eugene, OR and Dallas, TX. Natasha has amassed many performance awards including winner of the All-Russian contest “New Names” and the Grand Prix of the festival “International Talented” award to name a few. Her professional work can be viewed at Natasha Popova Violinist, including her other musical projects with Taylor Made: Seattle James Taylor Tribute, Face the Music: Tribute to ELO, duo performances with Larry Murante, Casanostra and many more.
Lead Vocals
Get up and after it! Solon is all about making the fans have an amazing experience through electrifying performances and a high-energy style. Expect the unexpected as he "explores the stage", "gets down with the crowd", or belts out an unexpected tune. No two shows are ever the same! Before Rebel Canyon, Solon was the front man for Past Curfew, performing a variety of sounds and styles in an always entertaining performance. Other projects include Brigade, a hard rock and metal band amd Rewired, which did a variety of pop, rock, disco and country. Currently, Solon also performs as "Sammy Hagar" in Mas Tequila, Tribute to Sammy Hagar. Solon's motto is simple: "People like to party, I like to party with the people, so let's have a party!"
Guitar, Vocals
Morgan Wick is a Guitarist, Composer, Bandleader, and Arranger. He has played, toured, and recorded as a hired gun across the Pacific Northwest since 2012.
Morgan received a Bachelor's degree in Classical Guitar Performance in 2010 from the Lionel Hampton School of Music. He is also the guitarist and co composer for the acclaimed Progressive Metal band A Sense of Gravity.
Morgan is also a profilic composer, having written a number of albums under his own name. On top of playing and writing he also runs a popular Youtube channel, The Prog School, where he teaches music theory and composition.
